Delicious BA imp stout courtesy of Jeppe. Smells of coffee, toffee; bourbon & coke. Taste: mochaccino, choc ice cream. Similar end- espresso, witha touch of sweet white grape (like Muscat). Lovely, and hides 13.5% well!

Not blown away by this. Smoky (Ghanian?) chocolate throughout; little difference between nose, mouth and end + something about it felt a bit flat.

Likeablely stonefruity- peach and apricot in particular. Nice weight about it. Thanks to my man Jeppe!

Had this again tonight, courtesy of a pal. Slightly less impressive, and more orangey, than when i first tried it five years ago (I think).

#1001Beers No.629 (all edns) 🇺🇸 10 Sep 2022. Incredibly pungent, rich citrus brew; loved it. Mixed peel/ tangerine+sugar syrup nose. Orange choc/caramel malt-y mouth, balanced by orange zest bitterness and caramel malt.

Good AF. Seville orange and papaya nose, like a DIPA's fruit but without the imperious heft. Similar ripe papaya malty thing in mouth. That tell tale iron taste is minimal. Wispy finish.

A smooth, majestic stout. Black berries (açai/ blackcurrant) + dark choc smell from the malt, a bit like burnt sausages/ (puffed) raisins. A big French/chicory coffee taste in mouth+ on the finish, with fruitiness returning on atop reverberating notes.
