2-Year Unblended Oude Lambiek anderton
Very nice straight lambic. Would prefer a Gueuze but there's plenty of flavour here and it's nicely priced

Blindingly tart, dry, fruity and delicious in this weather. A benchmark classic.

Advertised as 7% in the bar but Untappd will be correct, no doubt. Black grape, a tad medicinal, tart with the lambic character still distinctive. Lovely. A third at £4 is not bad for any Cantillon beer.

Very tasty. Less sweet than some. Sparkling aftertaste rather than super smooth and buttery like, say, Girardin.

Mm, hmm. Two extremely different beers, similarly satisfying. Kind of ridiculous but also ridiculously cool that this is £3.75 in Waitrose for a 375ml bottle.

Celebration! Congrats Tom for 40th and Jennie & Greg for civil partnership. This bottle was kept in a dark room for a year. Has it developed? Hard to say. It remained delicious, potentially more mellow and sweet.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) anderton
0.25l, for a treat. New one on me. It is extremely smooth. More carbonation and sweetness than the straight Lambic but thinner and more refined than the straight Gueuze. If it didn't cost so much I'd recommend this one as an in to lambic beers.
