Saint Lamvinus (2022) Stocker

Bit of an emotional beer for me, bucket list beer for a big occasion! Deep red wine skins and funky earthy lambic, well balanced complex vinous acidity and boatloads of dusty wine cellar funk for a fresh beer, absolutely awesome and well worth the wait!

KBS Stocker

Absolute stone cold classic, this was one of the beers that got me into stouts. Caramel maltiness, coffee and chocolate notes backed up with some nutty roasty notes and finishing with some barrel tannins, boozy but not overpowering.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2017) Stocker

Cidery acidity on the nose, more brett funk than acidity in the taste, some nice barrel tannins tucked in with refreshing dryness and spritzy carbonation

Vigneronne (2013) Stocker

Dusty wine cellar, cidery acidic notes and earthy funk on the nose. Assertive and complex acidity with a slight acetic note and some white wine tang. Dusty funk, earthy notes, a tiny hint of smoke and barrel tannins lengthened by dryness and spritzy carb.

Didn't even realise this was 3.5%, light and watery with some piney hop notes

Fou' Foune (2020) Stocker

#1000 Nose is sour and loaded with apricots, hints of earthy brett funk and woody notes. Bright acidity to start followed by lots of apricots, earthy brett funk, woody apricot pits and oak barrels to balance, high carb draws out the lovely flavour

Do Stuff Together Stocker

Not bad for a session beer, got it purely for the sidecar artwork as it's great, lemon and citrus with a herbal/tea bitterness but a bit thin

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2017) Stocker

happy Zwanze day! Lovely sour cherry aroma with hints of almond from cherry pits and oak. Sour cherry flavour is much more muted than fresh making way for mature lambic with bold complex acidity but well balanced with earthy brett funk and oak

Oude Geuze Boon (2017-2018) Stocker

Green apple puckering acidity with loads of earthy funk, high carbonation, dry and "digestible" as the Belgians would say! Added a few of these to the stash!
