Failed to notice that this was bottled in 2021. Flavours have clearly faded quite a fair bit. Some chocolatey and nutty flavours but no banana. Consistency is fairly creamy smooth and thick.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA (2023)
Tastes very much like a barleywine without the thick consistency. Malty, honeyish and some alcohol sting. Boozy yet doesn’t quite feel like 17%. Nice for the experience but not something I would wanna have on a regular basis 🤣

Not sure if I like or dislike this. It’s rich, full-bodied and boozy which i like BUT it’s also extremely sweeeeet in the beginning and finishes with black coffee roasty bitterness. Gotta nurse this 18%… 3.85

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020)
Call me weak but I could almost immediately feel the effects of this 17% abv stout 🤣 Dark stone fruits, figs, slightly malty and toffee flavours. Spicy finish. Drinks better after letting it sit out for awhile. Really nice RIS.

Pretty value-for-money barrel aged coffee stout. Not much to complain about given the price ($14.50). This isn’t something I would crave for but don’t mind giving it another go.

My second time (first was from Young Masters) having a scotch ale after so long. Caramel and malty sweetness with some oaky notes. Thin and watery body. Only 8.5% but boy I can feel the burn.
