Don't know what I was expecting with this one, but I don't think it was this. It's thin and a little grassy but packs a big hop flavor punch. Mouthfeel is simple and easy, but a strange IPA overall. I'm diggin' these 19.2oz cans tho! 3.85

Full-bodied brown ale with what I would call the flavor of fall on the back. It's soft and supple with a slightly spicy finish. I only wish it weren't *checks watch* 92° F. Here's to hopefully being in the final week of 100°/0% rain🤞

Got a wee heavy Scotch ale here that's both dense and super smooth. Rich caramel notes is absolutely right with maybe a hint of chocolate malts to complement. Drinks easy for an 8.5% ABV. Not a style I seek out generally but I'm cool with this.

An IPA brewed with juniper needles, juniper berries, and orange peel. Speaking of Nordic, I just finished @NetflixValhalla S2 and it stands up to its predecessor. I love juniper, and this is a good IPA, but none of flavors show up really. Still like it 👍

What I would call the prototype for a standard American porter. Robust, roasty, and easy drinking.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Velkovich
What a day. Can't believe I've never had this beer, regarded by some as the best IPA in the country. And I've got 19.25oz of 9% ABV goodness to go. Good mouthfeel with a hop profile I'd say is pineapple and guava. It kinda just ghosts (cont.)

Mandarin & Mango Crush Velkovich
Chillin' with Austin outside on this brutally hot May day. Much more fruit than I was expecting and much better than anticipated. Drinks easy and like a dream. Really diggin' this.

I remember really digging the OG 4 Giants. This one's good too with a hazy vibe. Hoppy high notes and a hazy body throughout. I think I like the OG version a little bit 🤏 more.

Where the Wild Hops Are Velkovich
Has that traditional farmhouse-style wild yeast flavor but as an IPA. If you like that, you'd dig this. Good, not great.

So this is a cherry ale aged in bourbon barrels that used to hold maple syrup. Nice tartness from the cherry that is quickly subverted by the sweetness from the maple. Honey? It never gets to be too maple-y nor does it linger too long. Super smooth for 8%

Again, congested. Good drinkability on this one with an aggressive mouthfeel that shows up halfway through the drink. Stone fruit background and a little moment of biting piney sweetness at the end. I really like how well this one is done.

Whoa. This beer is pretty much what I was hoping it'd be. Huge hop-gushing mouthfeel on this which is quite unlike anything I've had before. Like opening a floodgate. Bitter and balanced and bright. Hits hard like a hammer at 9.2% ABV. Trying to (cont.)

What I'd call an Oat Cream IPA, this beer is lush and creamy upfront before beautifully transitioning into bright, biting hops that feel like winter has come on your tongue. I like the style but I love this beer.

Whoa. Starts out alright, then gets super bitter at the end. The flavors are very sharp and unbecoming of a Milkshake IPA. Not great.

Interesting flavor profile. The body has this thinly-veiled bitterness with a backdrop of raspberry sweet/tartness. The bitterness in the finish though has an almost @ChlorasepticUSA like quality. I like it a lot.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) Velkovich
One of the highest-rated beers on @Untappd. It's so rich and chocolatey and very smooth for 12% ABV. Tasty dessert beer!
