Cool summer night calls for stout! KBS Chocolate Cherry has solid KBS background. I don't get a lot of cherry, but chocolate is a given, maybe a whiff of cherry late.

Awesome beer. The standard 4 Giants is great. This one, fresh from the source, is even better. Sweet with a powerful hop punch.

Good bitter ESB. Great atmosphere at Founders in Grand Rapids. Ice cold beer is hard to taste, but this is deeply roasty with that nice ESB bitterness. Sign me up!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) Yaniga
Two words: LIQUID FUDGE. Wow. Imperial Stout, so it has a kicker to it. A little goes a long way, but you ride in style.

Gettysburg must be just close enough to Delaware that they carry this in local bars. No complaints. Not as sweet as 120, but the hoppy profile comes through really nicely.

Celebrating at the Buck Pole! All these Bambi-Daddies out of circulation = fewer Bambis jumping out in front of my car. I'll drink to that! Cheers to all you hunters! Go get 'em! The KBS is excellent, too

Big boy beer on Fathers Day. Yum. Deep golden color, clear, big, boozy nose. Rich and malty with a solid hop background. These 4 Giants could rule the world! Thanks, Monica!

I am usually worried about keeping my beer cold - today I have other problems... Cold beer, hot water, finally some snow. Go, winter!

Underground Mountain Brown Yaniga
Bought warm on the shelf and couldn’t even wait to let it cool down in the fridge. So good. So rich and creamy. This is like an expensive chocolate in beer form. My German side calls out “Gaumenfreude!” - a joy to my palate.

Underground Mountain Brown Yaniga
This is big-boy beer. Deep and rich chocolate notes with slight alcohol sweetness underneath. Melt in your mouth, lick your lips flavor. Thanks, Chuck, for the Grand Rapids souvenir!

Very interesting, reminiscent of a Kriek, but there are clear notes coming from the tequila barrel used for aging. I love to see brewers experimenting with twists on classic styles. Thanks, Chuck! Great way to cap off my Monday.
