Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 31 Mono Blend Trigg
Been staring at this for a long time, I think. Chilled it ready for a post-gig comedown. Turns out, that’s exactly what they made it for. Tremendous. Such a soft sourness and funk.

Nelson Sauvignon / Sauvin Brut Trigg
Fancy that! That’s an amazing wild flavour to a familiar beer.

Great start. Heavy. Slightly bitter finish. Had it after a Chicago deep dish pizza that we had to walk to. So I had a thirst and a hunger. Good combo.

Hey hey: slightly tropical pale ale? Yep. In January? Not so much.

SpontanCherry Frederiksdal Trigg
Bloody lovely. Oh: I’d forgotten how earthy this series was. That is amazing. Cherry. Lightly sour. Somehow coconut. It has, it’s fair to say, split the family.

The beer that made me cancel my subscription. It’s fine. I’m just bored of paying 50% uplift for shipping. Fucking Brexit.

Just not a fan of passion fruit in beer. But as a gose it’s probably at its best.

Somehow remarkable but I don’t know why. Big and bold but not sweet or boozy. Breakfast indeed

Bulky. Black. Very very nice. Lunch beer. For when you don’t need to pay attention for the rest of the day.

Oh, To Øl I miss you. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaay? I even like your rye beer.

It got taken down as soon as my 1/3 was poured so I guess it was towards the end. But, FML: this is an amazing coffee/BA/Imperial/milkshake something. Ridiculous. Hope I don’t get bent because of this. It looks so wrong. I don’t wanna be right.

Been a while since I *earned* a beer. This one is a beauty. Rich but not unnecessarily sweet. Bitter at the back.

Almost pastry: big fruit and lightly sweet, but with a wide feel. Groovy.

A brilliant lager. Sort of coconutty ricey lightness and flavour. If I were playing cricket today, I’d be hurrying to do gallons of this. Brilliant.

Aha. Not a Game of Thrones fan. This makes that not matter I reckon. Not barrel aged: just fiercely boozy and dark. Bring me a baby dragon!!

Got a weird sweetness on the sides and a hollow middle. Nice. Strange.

Swerved this on day 1. It’s a low alcohol reisling beer. Tbh, it’s just reisling so far as I can tell. And what is not to love about that for breakfast? Would drink on a night out. Boom

American Dream Extra Dry-Hopped Trigg
Dry. Like a closed door at the end of a long mystery. Good.

Lovelier in draft. Also, there’s 2pinfs spilled on our carpet. So the house smells good, too

Shoulda spotted this was in the advent calendar. Dammit. Lovely though

My least favourite type of beer. Nevertheless this is a good one. And it’s still beer. So: yum.

Brilliantly: this tastes exactly how I imagined. Only better. Brut. Slight must. And winey. Yoop

Coffee stout. Just how I like my coffee. Unsweetened and black. So, as a beer, it goes without saying…

Hallo Ich Bin Berliner Weisse Frederiksdal Cherry Trigg
Sharp. Not as much fun as the lambic on day 2.

Been waiting to see what the fuss is about. This is horrid. I mean, it might be low in calories or something. And I might love them in a year. But this is not for me.

An all-danish week. Even this simple IPA is a thing of joy. Specifically, my joy. Rah!

SpontanCherry Frederiksdal (2020) Trigg
Mrs Trigg (who does love a cherry lambic) described it as “crunchy”. It’s yet another amazing flavour from the best advent calendar ever.

Beer Geek Fudgesicle BA Bourbon Trigg
Didn’t read what BGF stood for. Jesus. Rich, boozy, bourbon-ey. I desperately need to share shit like this with other people. Damn you Tier 3…

Smells gorgeous. Tastes… vigorous. Spectacular finish. Violet Beauregarde’s Revenge!

Yes, double dry. Bitter but not too bitter. Went into lock-down with a good finish.
