Curmudgeon Old Ale (2013) Wyman
Equal to 2012. Body, carbonation, flavor are all there. Oxidation is minimal for a 9 year old beer. Delicious.

A marked difference from 2011. The difference can be seen in the caps…2011 bubbled under the seal. 2012 pristine. This beer, after 10 years is delicious and pours clear and bright.

3.75 for an 11 year old bottle. Nice Job, Founders. The oxidation is readily apparent on the back end but smooth and superbly drinkable. I’ll follow this up with 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, shortly. Can’t wait to see which vintage tops the list.

Love what Founders has done here. So many barrel aged beers are too sweet when it’s not necessary. They’ve hit the nail on the head.....again.
