TIL what seabuckthorns are. Not sure how much of the sourness is coming from the Berliner and how much from the berries, but it definitely builds on you.

Nice, subtle smokiness here - most non traditional rauchbiers go over the top.

What really shines here for me is the malt base - does a great and almost un noticed job of supporting the hop forward character, with just enough oats and wheat to smooth out the ride
