Kærlighed Spring/Summer 2024 Söderström

Slightly hazy golden yellow with a flowery, slightly wet sweaty towel after a shower aroma. Lemongrass flavor. Watery mouthfeel, low carbonation. Very bitter. Too bitter tbh. Pithy lemon peel. Not for me.

Kaerlighed Hazy Pale Ale Fall/Winter 2023 Söderström

Clear yellow with a fresh pear and papaya aroma and a pinch of malt. Hoppy citrus, melon and pear flavor, and plenty of it. Light but smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation, unripe mandarin bitter finish. Loving this version. 3.9. Great!

Triple Two IPA Söderström

Hazy (sediment pic missing) golden orange with a mango like cognac and slight wet dog filled aroma. Unripe sweet citrus fruit, pineapple and pine flavor. Light mouthfeel, low carbonation ending in a resinous bitterness. Good. Tip: Let it rest for a while.

Kærlighed Spring/Summer 2023 Söderström

Clear yellow with a flowery urinal aroma. Hoppy, slight apple and citrus flavor. Thin mouthfeel, low carbonation. Long lasting and generous amount of resinous bitterness. Fresh.

Two Great Mondays Söderström

Medium hazy yellow with a promising dank overripe citrus aroma. Resinous grapefruit flavor and bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, well carbonated. It’s not bad. It’s well crafted but a bit samey throughout. Ok.

Gateway Söderström

Hazy golden orange with an inviting slightly dank fresh fruit aroma. Pink grapefruit and pine flavors on top, a touch of mint at the bottom. Medium mouthfeel with a hefty dose of grapefruit bitterness at the end. Very tasty.

Pastel Söderström

Clean clear and light with very slight citrus, sweat and lager aroma. Crisp and fresh, very slight citrus flavor. Slight bitter finish. A perfect refreshing summer brew.

Marbled Colors Söderström

Clean, clear orange color, overripe mango flavor. Medium but fresh mouthfeel, overripe sugary citrus/lemon induced bitter finish, if that makes sense. Bit strong (yes Untappd is wrong on ABV) It’s not bad, but it’s kind of all over the place. Ok.

Stedsegrøn / Evergreen Söderström

Hoppy sweaty smooth piney aroma, light clean and clear. Cold slightly minty unripe citrus fruit flavor and long lasting bitterness. Impressive stuff at 3.5%. Good.

Net Neutral Söderström

Hazy bright orange, piney and malty aroma turning bicycle hose rubber aroma (after a while). Pineapple, citrus, pithy grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium mouthfeel, very well carbonated. Soft almost sweet bitter finish if that makes sense. Great.

Stjernedans Söderström

Slight sweet wheat aroma, soft fluffy mouthfeel, hazy with a round bitterness that lingers. Wheat and citrus/grapefruit flavor. Fairly plain and unremarkable but not bad. Ok.

Ball Bearing Söderström

Gym bag and sweaty hands aroma, burnt briefcase flavor. But wait a bit and it has all changed for the better. Soft unripe fruit and warm plastic aroma. Light and clean but still full of flavors. One nice session.

Hyperspaceghost Söderström

Citrus fruit aroma, hazy and juicy but with a medium full mouthfeel. Lighter than you’d think. Medium carbonation. Pineapple, grapefruit, with a slight unripe pear flavor mixed in. Gets better with temperature! Pithy long pleasant citrus bitterness.

Fuzz Throne Söderström

Slightly dank, soft melon aroma, very inviting. Light yellow hazy with a thin mouthfeel. Low, almost no carbonation. Citrus and pineapple flavor. Full citrus induced long lasting dry bitterness. Very pleasant. Good one! 🤘

Chiral Söderström

Floral aroma. Ripe sweet fruit flavor. Citrus, passion fruit. Super well balanced. Hazy, full mouthfeel. Low level of bitterness. I usually love a strong bitterness but low level works extremely well here. Awesome.

Ain't Rocket Science Söderström

Tastes like an APA. Light, clean and clear. Apple and fruity flavor. Apple aroma. Pretty long dry pithy bitter finish that suits this brew well. Chuggable. Not bad at all.

Quaffzilla Söderström

This is a lovely session. Light, clean, fresh and smooth with a slightly toasted citrus flavor. Pleasant bitter finish. Could easily have ten of these not wanting anything else.

K:rlek Höst/Vinter 2021/2022 Söderström

Armpit aroma. Thin mouthfeel, much like a light soft drink but a less carbonated one. Let it gain some temperature and you’re rewarded with orange, citrus and lime flavors. Cardboard bitterness at the end. It’s awfully fresh this one. One for breakfast!

Tidligt Og Silde Söderström

Citra and Sabro doing it’s thing here. Herbal, piney, lots of fruit, bit of vanilla, and very nice. Wouldn’t mind another one of these.

K:rlek Vår/Sommar (2021) Söderström

A summer brew, fresh, clean, and very light. A slight citrus note, slight perfume aroma. A touch dry at the end. Too subtle really, but does the job on a hot summer night. 2019 edition (and earlier) still favorites so far.

Christian Bale Ale Söderström

Lovely session, fresh, summery, breezy. Well carbonated. A real chuggernaut you could get again and again. Fruity, hoppy, nice hit of bitterness at the end. Perfect abv. What’s not to like?

Game of Thrones - Iron Anniversary IPA Söderström

Pleasant fresh hazy 5.5% IPA, slightly warm sweet ripe pear/apple aroma, slightly light candy flavor and well carbonated but with a soft full mouthfeel. El Dorado hops perhaps? Tasty.

K:rlek Höst/Vinter (2020) Söderström

Light, clear, crispy pale with a slight citrus flavor. It’s a good pale. Not one you’d go for for a meal, but enjoyed on its own, easily downed and tasty. Good one.
