Hazy-O!

The O in Hazy O refers to oats with which this IPA is made. It’s a golden brew with very little head retention. The abv is 7.1%. Dogfish Head is out of Delaware, but they brew in other states as well. It’s tasty but nothing special.

KBS Espresso

I had to try this KBS variation as I am a big fan of Imperial stouts and coffee flavors. It’s a great tasting stout, with chocolate and coffee flavors that are subtle. 12% abv hardly noticeable. It’s a fine tasty brew. I’ll be enjoying this one again.

KBS

Finally getting into Founders KBS series. This is the original Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels, and it a strong one at 12% abv. It’s roasty, toasty with a sweet ness from chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and cocoa. Big full bodied taste here. Cheers

Underground Mountain Brown

Underground Mountain Brown is a brown ale, not a porter or a stout. It’s got a roasty malty taste, but also there are Sumatra coffee beans in the mix and then it’s aged in bourbon barrels! And yeah, the abv is 11.9%. Interesting taste combo. 🍺

Marvelroast

Golden ale, small head, but with a lot of taste going on. It’s got coffee, cocoa, and vanilla. It’s a bit like an iced coffee. It’s 8% abv. I like it but there’s a bit too much vanilla and milk sugar for my taste.
