Brilliance. Roasted coffee meets a hint of maple syrup, chocolate, some barrells, vanilla - all in a beautiful balance, like a well tuned orchestra.

French Toast Bastard S

Founders keep on giving. A fantastic Scotch ale, loaded with maple syrup in a sweet combo with coffee, vanilla and a balanced hint of the bourbon barrells. Come again.

KBS S

Touché! With this batch Founders strike a beautiful balance between roasted coffee, sweetness and the whisky barrells, the latter sometimes too dominante, but not this time. So likeable. Cheers!

A mouthful, big body. Chocolate sweetness meets coffee bitterness and ends up in strong whisky barrells. Complex but still too much whisky body.

Stedsegrøn / Evergreen S

Crisp and grassy, a fresh beer made for hot summer days. Nice beer with low alcohol (3.5%). Come again

Kaffestout S

Coffee, coffee followed by some kaffe.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2022) S

Loads of coffee but mostly bourbon barrells which ends up sticky/boozy. Ok but not tremendous.

Backwoods Bastard 2021 S

Big, strong, oak, vanilla, a true mouthful. One of my all-time favourites. Maybe a little sticky, will probably benefit from ageing. Welt classe

Centennial IPA S

Well balanced both malty and hoppy with a mild sweetness. Nice evening beer on a Thursday

A Little Goes A Long Way S

Lots of taste, low ABU. Sweet, almost corny-ish. Think popcorn goes beer.

Breakfast Stout S

Sweet and bitter coffee. Loads of it. A long lasting mouthful. Likeable indeed.

KBS S

Another ice coffee goes bourbon. Big, sweet and strong. Indeed likeable.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) S

Oh yes! Big, round, strong yet still smooth. Maple surup and coffee in a sweet, creamy mix. Nice balance, allthough the bourbon notes are too strong and overtake the oak from the barrells. Bourbon/whisky is always a difficult client.

Beer Geek Triple Flat White S

Big mouth, coffee, sweet, lactose, dry, long-lasting, licorice almost hockeysnus.

Big Lushious S

Crazy, packed with taste. Raspberry of course, but also dark roasted notes. Big body. Sweet but also with a dry, almost sour note. All at once but nevertheless balanced. Exciting stuff and very good. Founders keep on delivering!

Breakfast Stout (2020) S

Creamy sharp rosted espresso. Round, strong body. Brilliant as always.
