Wake Up World Wide Stout V

Figs, prunes, and coffee turn into ashy smoke, sour plums, and bitter loam. Bits of dark chocolate here and there, faint oak presence up front that swells to a crescendo by the finish.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) V

Last Extreme Beer Box beer for me. Black loam, sour plum, dark rum, Benedictine, dark chocolate, black bread, polished leather, charred oak, vanilla, damp mossy bark from a temperate rainforest. ABV hides until the finish.

Más Agave (2019) V

So, yes, this is a 2019 bottle. Bought a few weeks ago. Off an unrefrigerated shelf brightly lit by track lighting and the sun. 😆 Sweet beyond sweet, a sugar bomb. Also tart lime, mild salinity, not much tequila. I dig it, but I love sweet beers.

Breakfast Stout V

Just a nice, solid, oatmeal stout. Ashes, loam, charred oats. Something vaguely plummy in the backdrop.

Kriek 100% Lambic V

Hot damn. That is sour cherry perfected.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge V

Smells exactly like walking into a tourist trap fudge shop in Canada (sans flannel).Tastes like a damned good BA stout with maple fudge added and the barrel serving as accent rather than center stage.

Olde School V

#ExtremeBeerFest 2017 edition. Toffee, caramel, sticky sweet deliciousness.

Big Lushious V

Nor bad. Very sweet and fruity, heavy chocolate notes.
