Been awhile, given my loss of appreciation of this genre - but very good, subtle barrel that becomes a bit more pronounced as it sits. Still balanced without the barrel overpowering a nice amalgam of flavor(s).

My favorite version 😁. The coffee/espresso is so nicely balanced with/by the barrel = smooth and rich.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) B.
What's not to like here? Fully flavored with chocolate on the nose and palate, creamy and smooth, and coffee (& some bitter?) at the finish. Not "sweet", either - maple and barrel do not stand out.

Probably not fair to lower my rating from last time when I have with food this time.... However, it's still MOST EXCELLENT!! Has to be at top of my list(s)!
