Solid Gold Fleming

First thought is of the Solid Gold Dancers of the early 80s. Odd I know. I kept looking for something not to like but there isn’t anything. A fine light lager. Nothing thrilling either.

Oude Geuze Boon (2017-2018) Fleming

Not my words, but great summary, “discover the fruity grapefruit and cheese-like flavour with a touch of Muscat grapes...the round body. The sour mellowness and touches of dry oak.” Love the dryness and the finish lingers without being overpowering.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Fleming

Thick and chewy. Lingers nicely. Lots of coffee in this edition. As a barrel aged stout seems to have a sweet spot between too boozy and not boozy enough. Bourbon is rather subtle. Some chocolate.
