Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio Buckingham
Initial Aroma is a sour and vinegary hit on the senses but the taste although tart is more mellow. Light bodied smooth and funky, there’s a green apple saison vibe and oakiness to this easy drinking Lambic.

New England #85 And so it ends, 85 beers in a week 🥳 unlikely to be repeated. My 2nd Untappd of 60 Minute and I’ve upped the rating. Tastebuds are now toast. Hoppy and smooth, sweet and malty. It’s a fitting finish 🍻

A bit of a classic and more a classic style IPA neither west or east. Clear with a malty body it’s certainly hopped to the max but perfectly balanced. A bit citrus and a bit bitter, not one to chug.

A fantastic example of the lambic style. Sour and tart but never too ‘vinegary’, fruity raspberry punches through with a finish that is both dry and a little sweet. A real thirst quencher that lingers on the taste buds for ages. Great stuff.

Brussels #17 Another stunner. Aroma of dried fruit and barrel aging the flavour is intense dried fruitiness with a touch of oak that can best be described as marmalade. The usual long dry and tart finish, totally funky and amazingly good.

Brussels #16 Wow, Cantillon does not disappoint. Almost a fine Champagne, a grape aroma that comes through as a wonderful white wine with a fantastically balancing level of carbonation that cuts through the dry finish. Just a touch of tart to end.

Classic Gueuze (2022) Buckingham
Brussels #15 On from Bruges to pay homage to the home of Cantillon & Gueuze. Stunningly well balanced, tart and sour but not overly so. Thick thick body which has a real fruity character and is totally funky. Wonderful stuff

This is rather good. Great fruity aroma that delivers in a big hazy body oozing pineapple and papaya and maybe a hint of creamy coconut. Generally sweet but a little bitterness on the finish from the Chinook.

Different! Very smooth with a great mouthfeel starting lemony and going to orange. Certainly one to have a second if it wasn’t for the excellent beer menu.
