Aged 11 years. Malt, dried fruit, raisin, light caramel nose. Dried fruit, caramel, malt, raisin, touch of citrus, light apple skin. Aged exceptionally well, really smoothed things out. Alcohol still present but well integrated.

Blushing Padre Albert

Huge raspberry nose. Raspberry, bit of malt, hint of tequila in the back. Well balanced.

Crimson Cru Albert

Dried fruit, orange peel, gingerish nose. Touch of cherry, dried fruit, Christmas spice. Bit of a strange combination.

Curmudgeon Old Ale Albert

No idea what year this is. Big, malty, dark fruit, dried fruit, light maple nose. Definitely aged quite a few years. Maple, malt, dried fruit, oxidation.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2012) Albert

Aged 11 years. Funk, dried fruit, must, white grape, aged hops, citrus nose. Funk, oak, dried fruit citrus, white grape. Dry finish. Aged incredibly well.

Oude Geuze White Vermouth Foeders Albert

Funk, citrus, dried fruit, aged hops, oak nose. Funk, citrus, white grape, dried fruit, oak. Light tartness, well balanced.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2011) Albert

Aged 12 years. Funk, big raspberry nose. Flavor follows, touch of oak. Quite smooth, still very flavorful.

Fou' Foune (2016) Albert

Aged 7 years. Funk, apricot, dried fruit, touch of perfume. Flavor follows. Tart, lost a bit of its punch.

Sang Bleu (2023) Albert

Funk, dark berry, lemon citrus, touch of oak nose. Ripe dark berry, lemon citrus, dried fruit, skins. Very well balanced, could use just a hint more carb.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2023) Albert

Funk, citrus, dried fruit, white wine grape, oak nose. Funk, citrus, dried fruit, white wine grape, skins, aged hops. Light tartness, absolutely beautiful balance.

Oude Geuze Apogee Albert

Funk, citrus, dried fruit, white grape, oak nose. Funk, dried fruit, citrus, light white grape, aged hops, oak. Well balanced, light tartness.

Saint Lamvinus (2021) Albert

Actually 2022. Huge vinous, funky, dried fruit, red wine grape, dark berry nose. Beautiful vinous red wine grape, skins, dark berry, funk, oak. Massively well balanced.

Fou' Foune Albert

Funk, dried fruit, apricot, light lemon citrus, touch of wood nose. Absolutely beautifully balanced. Apricot, funk, dried fruit, light citrus, skins, wood. Very light tartness.

Immort Ale Albert

2013 aged 10 years. Malty, vanilla, caramel, dried fruit nose. Vanilla, oak, dried fruit, hint of smoke, rindy bitterness. Aged incredibly well.

Syrax Albert

Hoppy, dried fruit, citrus nose. Very light, citrus, pith, rindy bitterness.

Caraxes Albert

Tart, cherry, grapefruit, tropical fruit nose. Ripe cherry, grapefruit, exotic tropical fruit, skins. Flavor is a bit light, but still present. Interesting idea for a non-alcoholic beer. Light fruity tartness. Close to a seltzer.

Rindy, dried fruit, citrus nose. Dried fruit, orange citrus, rindy. Big rindy bitterness. Touch of sweetness in the finish.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2012) Albert

Maybe? At least 10 years old. No date on bottle. Cocoa, vanilla, light pepper nose. Light cocoa, light vanilla. Quite watery at this point.

Classic Gueuze Albert

Funk, dried fruit, white grape, pit fruit, aged hops, light wood nose. Dried fruit, funk, aged hops, white grape, pit fruit, skins. Beautiful balance. Light tartness, dry finish.

2018/2019 - aged 3ish years. Funk, dried fruit, pit, light wood nose. Funk, dried fruit, pit fruit, light lemon, white grape, wood. Well balanced, hint of tartness, dry finish.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio Albert

Funk, dried fruit, apple, grain, touch of pear nose. Funk, grain, dried fruit, apple, pear, aged hops, skins, white wine grape. Incredibly well balanced, light tartness, dry.

Citrus, pit forward nose. Very light citrus and pit. A bit washed out.

Dried fruit, citrus nose. Dried fruit, citrus, slight pine. Well balanced, not exciting.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Albert

Cocoa, roast, cinnamon, vanilla nose. Cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon. Cocoa and roast get overpowered. Alcohol present.

Beer Geek Breakfast Albert

Light dark fruit, light cocoa, coffee nose. Coffee, light cocoa, light roast, touch of cream, touch of caramel. Well balanced and flavorful for the abv.

Panther Cub (2021) Albert

Light cocoa and dark fruit nose. Dark fruit, bourbon, odd spice. Nothing else really comes forward. Well balanced, but not exciting. Most ingredients are absent in the flavor.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Albert

Coffee, cocoa, maple, vanilla, roast nose. Cocoa, coffee, roast, maple, dark fruit. Aroma outshines the flavor, but better than normal KBS. Decent balance for the style. Touch of watery bourbon in the finish. Dark chocolate bitterness.

Dirty Bastard Albert

Malty, dried fruit, light roast nose. Malt, light caramel, dried fruit, light roast, earthy bitterness. Flavorful, balanced, and drinkable. Alcohol present but appropriate.

Mas Agave (2020) Albert

Malty, citrus, lime, barrel, tequila nose. Malt, lime, citrus, tequila, agave sweetness, touch of salinity. Alcohol well integrated - has mellowed.

Noble Rot (2013) Albert

Last bottle aged 7+ years. Certainly has oxidized, Belgian yeast and vinous character remains. Alcohol almost imperceptible.

Moon Rambler IPA Albert

Fruity, hoppy, citrus forward nose. Nice balance, citrus, slight candied fruit, light rindy bitterness.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2016) Albert

Aged 4 years. Malty, cocoa, roast, light coffee nose. Cocoa, roast, coffee, oddly cinnamon. Maple has largely passed on, decent mouthfeel. Roasty, dark chocolate bitterness. They say not to age CBS, but it ages much better than KBS.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2015) Albert

Aged 5 years. Funk, dried pit, skins woody nose. Dried pit, citrus funk wood grain. Absolutely incredible balance. You could drink this forever.
