KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Greer
Very good. Need to back off on the spice just a tad. Cheers!

The maple syrup is flavorful, but the spice overwhelms the finish. Overall, a worthy effort. Cheers!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2016) Greer
Thanks Chris K for this vintage glass. It has aged nicely. Cheers!

This year's batch I think has a richer flavor and the coffee is more robust, but still smooth on the finish. Solid. Cheers!

A day alone with a good beer, and a salute to our passed love ones! Cheers!

Boozy and fine on the palate. Needs a bit more malt to be a classic imperial for my taste, but a worthy effort.

Nice, light and yet hoppy. Great for the beginner into IPA's. Surprised I haven't logged this beer until now. Cheers!

Pretty good but not as full flavored as Pilgrim's Dole. Wheat wines are not common so this is a good effort. Cheers!

More cinnamon than maple. Good but not well balanced. I expected more.

As Octoberfest-Marzens go, this barrel aged brew is good. My rating reflects that this is not my category of beer. Aging this beer made all the difference. Cheers!

Bottle Shop Belgian Twist Greer
Being a fan of Belgian Triples, this was a little underwhelming. The banana/yeast flavor was the only thing I could taste! Cheers!

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Greer
Very smooth and almost sweet finish. Hints of cocoa and oak. For 17%ABV I would expect it to be a bit more boozy in flavor.. Not sure it's worth the price. Thanks Chris! Skoal!

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Greer
Interesting flavor combination. The cinnamon makes it pop. Solid Skoal.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) Greer
Boozy up front with a deep dark velvety finish. Hints of oak, abounding in malt. Thanks so much John!

This eclectic beer is an unusual blend of flavors. The nose is solid and when it fist hits the mouth has a good feel. Strong chocolate and vanilla finish but the body was bland. Worth the experiment but Founders should move on.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Greer
Like an Old Fashioned in a beer. I'm a little partial. They call it a double imperial brown but the caramel, fruit and spice sweetens it beyond any brown I've had. Still goes down nice. Good call John.

Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (2020) Greer
Like most stouts, better as it warmed. Had an unbelievable roasty nose. Very thick in the mouth with great after-taste. Thanks John!

This is a little bland for a Breakfast Stout compared to some of the others. Founders reliably puts out quality products and this is no exception but give me a KBS or CBS any day.

Smoother IPA and though its name is Hazy and indeed so in color but it drinks more like a double-imperial. Probably the oats that bring out the sweetness. Thanks John for this one.

Wow! Vanilla is profound! I like the vanilla in this quite well! Thanks again John. Anyone who reads these might think you turned me on to alcoholics anonymous.
