Mortal Bloom Feiertag

Merely fine. Thick and chewy with heavy grapefruit pith. More sharply bitter than most would expect in a hazy. Can't say I will remember this in five minutes. But serviceable.

Nitro Rübæus Feiertag

I actually don't like this as much as regular Rubeus. Too thin and watery. Nitro has to be done (and served) correctly - this isn't. Limp, languid, dull. Still sweet and tart but tastes cheap.

Velvet Rush Feiertag

I prefer underground mountain quite a bit more than this, but good on Founders for developing the brown ale style. Looks like root beer. Tastes like a coffee stout, with punishing roast bitterness and ashy texture. Should be more sweet, grainy, & creamy.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend Feiertag

A little bit vinegary and vinous, but tastes mostly to me like sour lemon with some very acidic white wine. Funky, medium sourness. A smidge of sediment. Needs more berry character to offset the acidity.

French Toast Bastard Feiertag

Mmm. Yep, that's french toast alright. Incredible capture of the maple syrup, butter, honey, cinnamon, and breadiness of the french toast experience. I expected a stout, but this is more watery and thin like a brown ale. But don't fix what ain't broke.

Beer Geek Vanilla Shake Feiertag

Certainly vanilla in there alright... Almost comes off like creme brulee. Malty with folds of white chocolate or white fudge cookie. A bit like drinking ice cream. Silky and creamy before a slight ashy finish. Maybe notes of butter, salt, & coconut. Good

SpontanCherry Frederiksdal Feiertag

Deep dark cherry body, smells nice and sour. Mmm, good. Loads of tart black cherry flavor perfectly melded with STRONG, sour funk. 8 out of 10 sourness. Highly carbonated but still rich, stouty mouthfeel (a good combo). Like a sour cherry pie. Great

Frangelic Mountain Brown Feiertag

This actually stood up to my store's hype. Assuming you agree it's a brown, a delicious example of the style. Smell & taste are the same: hazelnut, peanut butter, pretzel, almond, vanilla, and tons of milk chocolate carriages by a creamy, light body. Mmmm
