Cuvée Saint-Gilloise 2021 Plastow
Bottled Jan 21. Fresh aroma of citrus and apple. Spritzy and sour. Red apple, white grape, some sweet orange? Some lovely oak and tannin on the finish, which is dry and refreshing. Had this one awhile, really pleased with it!

Not had one of these for many a year. Piney aroma. Malty backbone with some resiny hop character and a nice bitter finish. A proper classic

2016-2017. Floral aroma. The age has taken a lot of the sharpness off, it's lightly tart. Subtle barnyard funk that grows as you drink it. Notes of apple, grapefruit, rhubarb and oak. It has aged well.

19/20 season, 2020 bottle. This is special, the perfect summer sup. Strawberry and cranberry aroma. Loads and loads of juicy, tart raspberry flavour. Really complex taste. Funky, dry finish. First Cantillon and I'm not disappointed.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Plastow
Super fudge aroma from the second you open it. Thick and creamy. Maple syrup and chocolate at the beginning then coffee, fudge and bourbony caramel through the finish. No burn from the booze at all. It's a 4.95 beer.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Plastow
Had this every birthday for the last few years. It is always better each time I go back. Might not be the undisputed king it once was but still an elite beer. Boozy, thick, complex and magnificent - just tastes of Xmas Eve to me.
