Nice find in the back of my cooler. Lovely Brett character. Great base beer still comes through.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend M.

Aged too long. Few of the nice funk notes left, an aggressive nail polish and butyric acid flavors dominate. This is one is on me, should have had it earlier.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 91 Mono Blend M.

Much lighter and more subtle than vat92. There is a little nail polish funk in the finish, but has a soft tartness and really no Brett notes. Much more approachable than other vats.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend M.

Cracking into some of my 6 year old lambic. Starts light, finishes dry with horse blanket and bandaid flavors in the middle. The Brett funk plays second fiddle to the other polyphenol, but still a pleasant lambic.
