Glad to try again. Might have been a bit cool. Lots of raspberries. Sweet and not much lambic vibes.

Another wonderful Cantillon. Subtle bright cherry notes. Moderate tartness & light funk. Moreish

So well balanced. Subtle tartness & funk. A light cantaloupe/ pear note; peach. Light oak & acidity; white pepper. Bit of juicy (?), horse blanket that’s been resting on the flank funk. Lingering moreish finish. Forgot the picture, so photo of a taster!

Been patiently waiting to try Fou’ and worth the wait. Apricot gold pour. Aroma is more fresh apricot juice than anything funky. Elegantand balanced. Some ripe peach, skin & fuzz. Light tartness & a gentle funk. Effervescent & fresh fruitiness to finish

Muled by Kalin. Light copper pour. Dank, pine, bit of ripe tropical fruit on the nose. Big malt cushion. Perfumed Amarillo hops, more stone fruit on the palate. Great heft. Plenty of good piney, fruity hops. Lingering bitterness. Amazing to try again

Surprise find for BV weekend. Pale gold. Resiny pine hops on the nose, plus that slight honey note from tired US IPA. Firm malt base. Big resinous piney hops. Excellent lingering bitter finish. Always good to try a classic, if a bit past it’s prime.
