Advent calendar #13 - balanced drink which punches above its ABV. Lots of fruitiness, mango, strong citrus, kinda resinous, bitter orange peel, and a very floral hop which lingers in the mouth. You can feel the floral hop on your breath. Almost sour. Cool

Very pale. Overall a lagery smell. Subtle difference to the malt. Not necessarily rice flavoured. Very light and dainty at the start, but kind of marinades towards the finish and punches above its weight flavour malt wise by the end. Really nice actually

Bean Geeks - Session Porter Taft
Dark, roasted cocoa flavours straddling a wave of mildly sweet, and then sour lactose. Nice but not a worldie.

Amazing mix of wheat and sour raspberry. Both tart and sweet. Big fan of this. Light, so could drink many, many of these.

Day 7 of Beery Christmas. I really like the sweet fruit notes of melon and pineapple that come through. Low bitterness which is citrusy and piney. One of the most pleasant session IPA’s I’ve had.

Proper old school amber/bitter. Basically a real ale. Malty, kind of watery, very unpronounced hops. But still pleasant. A nice amber like, but very functional. Oh, and yes, it was brewed in collab with Rick Astley.

Very light. Like verrryyy light. Slightly hoppy but there’s a sweet edge to it. Did I mention it was light? Could be enjoyable in the right circumstances but left wanting a bit more.

A more straight down the line IPA. Mostly hops with an edge of melon. I’m starting to be able to characterise dry hop, which is present here. All in all, a solid effort.
