Semi-tart citrus, juicy pineapple, and subtle floral bitterness.

I was really craving a stout. I love this beer, but I’m feeling nostalgic for the old label.

Pulling this out of the beer fridge. This should be about 18-24 months old.

One of the sweetest Oktoberfests that I can recall. Malty with caramel and even a touch of honey sweetness. I’m glad I like this because I have 11 more to get through.

Beer #4 from Founders All Day Variety Pack. Again, I’m impressed with how flavorful this is. Bitter roasted coffee mixed with citrus and piney hops. I like this a lot.

Beer #3 from Founders All Day Variety Pack. Just like the others in the pack, this is impressively flavorful for under 5%. Orange, grapefruit, and passion fruit come to mind while I drink this.

Beer #2 from the Founders All Day Variety Pack. Crisp, dry, and impressively flavorful for under 5%. Pineapple, lemon, and grass come to mind. It’s almost as good as the original.

Starting with the OG from the Founders Brewing All Day Variety Pack. Without a doubt, this is still one of the best session IPAs out there.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa McClure
I was craving a stout so badly that I was willing to raid the beer fridge. This is still great, and the adjuncts are still detectable despite the age.

Beer #4 from the Dogfish Head Continually Hopped Variety Pack. Nice carbonation and nothing offensive. The hops give off a mild to moderate grassy flavor. Definitely one of their lighter beers.

Beer #3 from the Dogfish Head Continually Hopped Variety Pack. With spring arriving, what better time to have a Pilsner? Again, not my favorite style so take my rating with a grain of salt. Bread crust, light peppery spice, and lemongrass.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter McClure
Let’s go Steelers! A nice blend of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla.

Raspberry sourness with mild to moderate acidity. Starts off so good but the flavor fades away too quickly. I don’t really taste the vanilla.

The fourth rendition of KBS I’ve tried. It’s great & worth picking up. It starts off with a nice chocolate and semi-sweet cream flavor. The middle is when the coffee & espresso really take off. The finish combines the first two parts with smooth bourbon.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% McClure
I dug deep into the back of the beer fridge to pull this wonder out. Although the 10 mile run is reason enough to reward myself, I originally told myself I’d have one of these when I married my better half. Well, better late than never. I love you Mindy.

Honestly, I wouldn’t have pegged this as an oat milk IPA. The body is soft, but I wouldn’t really describe it as creamy. Very low bitterness. Sweet and juicy tropical and citrus fruits.

First wedding of the season. Open bar AND a coffee bar?! Nice! Going to try an espresso martini after this.

Grape must, blood orange wedges, and lemon juice. The beer has a “sparkling” mouthfeel to it and is certainly on the tarter side of things. Honestly, I would almost peg this as a tart farmhouse ale.

I don’t have much experience with Gueuze beers, but I imagine Stephan K. would like the beer and German beer hall. The beer has flavors of oak, grapefruit, tart apple, and grape must. It just reminds me of a damp, dank cellar which I feel validates it.
