Another beer that wasn’t mind blowing amazing but definitely worth my 4.00 check-in. Balanced fruitiness with a sweet malt and pine finish. Medium bodied with clean feel.

On the cusp of the 4 but it wasn’t a malt bomb so I was generous. Lightly fruity hops, cracker malts, and some pine. Nothing much more with a medium body and a smooth feel.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) B.
The sweetness definitely mellowed out! Nose was cherry, oak, roast, chocolate, subtle bourbon. Taste matched and everything flowed together nicely! Full body with a slick feel. No sign of coffee on smell or taste.

The nose was super inviting and reminded me of chocolate milk and cookies with a splash of bourbon. Crazy chocolate notes throughout with a long finish. I wish the bourbon was bigger. Maple syrup added a good sweetness. Solid 4.5 better than the base beer
