Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend Rogers

8/4/9/5/4.2 Dry aged cheddar cheese, brett, and a funky oak core. Cloudy mandarin body. Mouthfeel bone dry with barnyard, citrus, and cheese. Would go well with a nice cheese plate. Excellent Belgian lambic.

DKML Rogers

6/3/7/3/3.6 Malty release could be mistaken for a malty old ale in decline. Very warm blend of caramel, sherry, and toffee with a thick finish. ABV very apparent but unlike many malt liquors actually drinkable.

Black Hole Barrel Aged Scotch Rogers

7/4/6/3/3.7 Potent whiskey and black coffee boozy from the onset. Thick texture clings to the glass. Icy legs. Smoky peated coffee, warm booze, and an intensity that does not seem to have mellowed in ten years. Could probably last another five or more.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend Rogers

8/4/9/5/4.2 Cutting blue cheese, sweat socks, and dirty hay with a corrosive essence. Pungeant and memorable. Mouthfeel very similar with focus on cheese and yeast. Stale cheese opens up on the back of the throat. A fantastic example of the style.

Spontanseabuckthorn  Rogers

7/3/8/3/3.8 2012 vintage. Sour musty salt water, figs, and oaky berries. Perhaps a little past its prime. Cloudy caramel base releases waves of chocolate, seaweed, and salt water. Tart salty vinegar finish. Distinctive and sharp profile. Excellent.
