Day 19 - light plum with a lovely tart finish.

Spontankonatsu Powell

Day 3 - super puckery with a light vitamin c flavour and some citrus.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Powell

Well I finally had a chance to have some dog fish head. Big piney flavour followed by some notes of citrus. This is an amazing beer.

Burst Powell

Day 8 - Bright and citrusy with some very light bitter notes. What a great beer just wish it was a little stronger.

Saint Lamvinus Powell

Mmmm this is yummy with some light gewurztraminer note. Light funk with a lingering sourness. This is yet another great Cantillion.

Rosé de Gambrinus Powell

This is a beer with all the raspberries. Huge raspberry bush aroma with jammy hits. Very faint levels of the lambic pairing with the raspberry.

US Alive! Powell

Not sure how this is a wild, it’s got no funk and tastes very bready/biscuity.

Kaffestout Powell

Day 10, flavours of burnt roasted malt and coffee predominant this beer with lingering sweetness to follow. Light syrupy texture makes for a great morning beer. Cheers to those enjoying a cup-o-joe this morning.

Green Gold Powell

Day 4 redo, bready biscuity with a light citrus stone fruit bittering.

Kriek 100% Lambic Powell

That aroma, there is nothing like it. It hits you initially with some wonderful funk then this light a cherry hit. Tart and sour with the cherry leading to the back of your mouth. I understand that this is something that I need to seek out in life.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio Powell

Slight sulfury aroma with some goose berry. The flavour is something to die for, lovely tart flavour with a slight salinity with a touch of stonefruit. I love finding unicorn beers in Alberta.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) Powell

It’s always nice to find a beer unicorn beer. Peach and gooseberry on the nose with touch of funk. Wonderfully drying in the mouth with a touch of lemon and grapefruit. This is wonderful beer to drink with the #2020Kumells

Black Powell

Leah could not finish this so I’m helping. My god this is strong! Deep deep molasses with some charred caramel and toffee. Not a beer for the faint of heart at 17%

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2015) Powell

Day 5 I think. This is quite nice I always love a good Geuse.
