Definitely not afraid of the Dark. Beers at any rate. In danger of being a beer snob...

Beer Geek Breakfast G.

Bitter as night, potent coffee with a little stout oomph. Not quite sure I'd hit it at breakfast, but it's certainly given me some vim.

Doublebock Frederiksdal Cherries G.

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 22 - Tart cherry, solid malty undertone. Like a rich, boozy fruit cake. Quite impressed with that.

Swedish Polar Beer G.

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 21 - light and fruity, slight hoppy crispness. Very fresh, brilliant session beer.

Oude Geuze Goût Américain G.

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 18 - Sour bite, dry rasp and then an easy fruit aftertaste. Almost in reverse of a usual sour. Interesting brew.

Riesling People G.

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 17 - Cor, gert lush. Lots of fruit flavour, grape and pineapple then with a hoppy dryness without the acidity. This stuff is awesome.

Iskold Classic G.

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 16 - nice and malty for a lager, caramel notes and a very smooth and balanced brew. Very quaffable! May need to grab some more of these... Arguably my favourite lager!

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 10 - Very malty and surprisingly bitter for an IPA. Bit raspy on the aftertaste.

Hallo Ich Bin Berliner Weisse Frederiksdal Cherry G.

Mikkeller Advent Calendar Day 6 - tart and fruity, cherry less pronounced - could have mistaken it for raspberry. Pleasant enough and a good pallette cleanser, but not sure I'd do it again.
