Geuze Mariage Parfait (2018) Dijkhuizen
I do like geuze and this one is really good. Ticks a lot of boxes. Leather and dust, earthy touch, grassy, sour, berry reminiscent of elderberry, could use a tad more tartness, but hey, who’s perfect? Very well made wild ale, great balance, quality brew!

I was glad to share a growler with a friend who recently learned to appreciate hop bitterness. Not sure if this fits a typical WC, but loved the fruity, juicy taste and feel, the hoppy aroma, the pine and the bitterness growing towards the finish.

Oude Geuze Boon (2019-2020) Dijkhuizen
Aroma of lemongrass and hay. Tart as should be, acidity of unripe Granny Smith apples. Citrus, funk, wood. Beautiful light orange colour and white foam head. Could use a bit more oaky tartness. Not the best brewing year, but still a classic geuze.

Honey and berries, lovely melomel, I could drink a few more. Heavy on the alcohol, light in taste.

Stoutish, chocolaty and roasted malts. At the same time fruity (citrus), biscuity, with a resinous touch and a terrific dry and hoppy bitterness that slowly dissolves, leaving a salty sensation on my tongue. Great BIPA!

Not much time for a review. Juicy, pineapple/tropical fruit, yeasty with terrific bitterness. I’m hoppy, it says. So true!! Great balance

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio Dijkhuizen
This is so good! Tart and dry and sour, with a subtle fruity touch. Deliciously light, yet on the other hand complex. Classy like good wine. Really good gueuze!

A porter by Founders can’t really disappoint you. This one proves me right. Chocolaty with a roasty touch and some black coffee bitterness in the finish. Gratifying brew on a wet autumn afternoon.

Nicely carbonated, for quenching my thirst. No wild yeasts used, but I still get that suggestion (must be the brewery name) Bit roasty, malty sweet with raisins and plumb. Surprising dry finish that mainly leaves a carbo sour tingle on the tongue.

Good fruity American IPA, full of peach and pineapple notes. Gratifyingly refreshing on a nice sunny day. I would have liked a bit more bitterness, but there is no accounting for taste.

Unbelievably and unexpectedly hoppy for a saison IPA. Must say I love it. Nice and clean to.

Wham! Bam! Thank you ma'am. Like ripping open a new bag of coffee beans. Coffee bitter and sour, thick and sweet with chocolate notes and nuts in the finish. Subtly hoppy. Rich RIS with well hidden ABV. Yummy!!!

Good malty brew with caramel as main taste sensation. The peat and smoke give balance, together with some hoppiness. Lovely finish. I like this bastard.

BC2020#23 Weird mix of tastes this one, but interesting nonetheless. Smells like ice coffee. A blend of milk chocolate, coffee with milk, almond paste and vanilla. Roast in the finish with lingering roasty bitterness. Liquid dessert 🤤

Backwoods Bastard (2020) Dijkhuizen
I could swear this Bastard was brewed specialy for me. Promising aroma of caramel and whisky. Tastewise a near perfect balance of caramel, single malt, bourbon barrel oak, fig and roasted malt bitterness that almost leaves me speechless. Beware of the ABV
