Thought I’d finish the night off with some dessert. Boozy with subtle notes of blueberry. Could use a little more. Definitely taste the bourbon. Has a sickly sweet finish. A little disappointed to be honest.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter Filkohazi

Roasty with a slight dark chocolate bitterness. Finishes with a nice hint of vanilla. Very tasty. Liked this a lot.

Dirty Bastard Filkohazi

The last time I had this was 2015. Malty and smooth with a strong, boozy finish.

Citrus Squall Filkohazi

Very juicy up front with big notes of grapefruit. Getting a hint of tequila and lime. Sweeter than I expected. One and done.

Porter Filkohazi

Nothing better than finishing the night with a rich and tasty traditional porter. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

Ultimate Oktoberfest Filkohazi

This is a first for me - a bourbon barrel aged Marzen style Oktoberfest. Malty and very smooth with a hint of caramel. Finishes with a slightly boozy kick of bourbon - not overpowering. Very nice!

Velvet Rush Filkohazi

Very roasty dark coffee notes up front. Not getting any chocolate. Has a hint of vanilla and a subtle bourbon note at the finish. Pretty boozy.

Frootwood Filkohazi

Finishing this Friday off with Stranger Things and Frootwood. Over the top sweetness is the main thing I notice. There are subtle hints of tart cherry and maple syrup. The bourbon kick is pretty mellow. Not a fan.

KBS Hazelnut (2022) Filkohazi

A lot of balanced flavors here. Roasty coffee, chocolate and bourbon with a a hint of hazelnut. Pretty smooth with a slightly boozy finish.

French Toast Bastard Filkohazi

Now this is how you end a weekend. A great balance of bourbon, maple syrup and vanilla with a kiss of cinnamon. Sweet and slightly boozy. Definitely a sipper.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Filkohazi

Yup - you’re seeing that right. Uno has a keg of CBS from 2018 that has been aging quite nicely. More mellow and smooth than when it was first released. The oakey bourbon notes are still quite noticeable, but not overpowering. Missing the maple though.

KBS Espresso (2021) Filkohazi

Strong, dark and delicious. Big espresso and chocolate notes with a lingering boozy, bourbon finish. Much needed after this day. A big FU to crappy drawings, lazy engineers (AD), and stair treads. Don’t ask…

Punkin Ale 2021 Filkohazi

Subtle notes of pumpkin pie spices at the start. Cinnamon takes over at the finish. Not as good as I remember.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Filkohazi

As I was leaving work today, the Founders truck drove right in front of me. I took it as a sign. This KBS version has a slight sweetness to it from the vanilla. The oakey bourbon notes dominate though. Not getting any cinnamon. Thanks Ryan for saving one!

Nemesis (2021) Filkohazi

Needed this today. Big and roasty with a lingering sweetness. Not as boozy as I expected. Thanks Ryan for this one!

Panther Cub (2021) Filkohazi

Happy National Beer Day! Enjoying this robust porter. A hint of vanilla and maple syrup up front. The bourbon definitely takes over quickly. Finishes with a boozy burn.

Imperial Stout Filkohazi

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Filkohazi

Definitely going big now. Nice balance of chocolate fudge and bourbon. Not as boozy as I expected. Maybe it’s the day - who knows? A little disappointed in the lack of maple flavor though. Thanks again Ryan for this one!

Campfire Amplifier Filkohazi

Was expecting a sweet s’more like stout. There is a hint of graham and marshmallow with a hint of smoke. Not overly sweet. Overall it’s well balanced and I enjoyed it the more I drank it.
