Citrus Squall

Close but misses. Strong citrus, very juicy grapefruit plus mixed zest aroma. Little too sweet but still OK. Ale has nice creaminess. But, there is something funky and off-putting in its second wave of flavor that lingers.

Crimson Cru

I’m not fond of Rodenbach, but really like this chimera. Lighter overall, lost funky aftertaste of original, kept Flanders tang. Accent tastes of candied citrus peel, sour cherry, and oak. Little toastiness in malt. Long tart finish.

Punkin Ale (2022)

My favorite pumpkin beer. Rich brown ale with med-strong malt, bitter backbone, flavors of dark toffee, nutmeg, and roasted pumpkin, light sweetness, and a med-light foamy mouthfeel.

Underground Mountain Brown

Super rich, heavily-flavored, and over the top. Tastes strongly of coffee and cocoa, plus bourbon barrel character, and very sweet. More like a hefty dessert porter than a brown ale. Becomes cloying long before finishing a bottle.
