Rosé de Gambrinus Tomkinson

This one aged alongside the Kriek of yesterday, and I note a marked improvement on an already great beer! The nose is even more intense, and an earthy note has become prominent. The funk had increased too. Still not as much as gueuze though.

Kriek 100% Lambic Tomkinson

It's been cellaring for about two years, and the tartness has increased strongly. The nose is full of cherries, as is the finish, but they disappear in the middle of the evolution, replaced by a more gueuze-like profile

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio Tomkinson

A year in cellar has brought more of a sweet balsamic note, akin to a Flanders oud bruin, in addition to the classic gueuze characteristics

It’s been some while since I first had this, and still it holds true. I’ve found it no equal on this earth.

Rosé de Gambrinus Tomkinson

As always, Cantillon is delectable. I expected it to be sweeter due to the raspberries, but was pleasantly surprised to find it very well balanced. Less lambic funk than the other Cantillons, still nice berry tartness.

Kriek 100% Lambic Tomkinson

Glad I was able to grab two bottles so I could try one! Lambic funk and tart cherries is a hard combo to beat!

Geuze Mariage Parfait Tomkinson

It is not everyday that you have a beer like this! Very forward lambic funk, with lots of orange, vanilla, and baking spice, especially clove. Notably absent lemon note that I usually find in Lambic. Replaced by various types of oranges. Delicious!
