Neu Pilsner “Kaltgehopft” Grant
Interesting - quite floral aromatic and tasting Pilsner but still crisp. Nicely done.

Frederiksdal Oude Kriek Barrel Finish Grant
Dark ruby red. Aroma of oak barrels finished it. Sour upfront taste but oak and vanilla finish keeps it mellow overall.

Malt base doesn’t hold up to this cleverly Xmas spiced beer. Feels thin and then overpowering w/ flavor.

Dark yellow w/ bready aroma. Maybe a dark lager but doesn’t quite get there. Malty w/ bitter herbal hop and caramel touch but doesn’t meld well.

Cherry red color and quite fizzy. Big ale taste and cherries more tart than sweet. Find some nutty almond on aftertaste. 1st sip is doozy but grows on ya.

Feels stronger than 7.5 ABV yet that smooth coffee with all on top of oatmeal base is delicious combo.

Plenty of coffee and some sweetness end. Brown ale with stoutish qualities. Interesting and want to have another.

Holiday Ale From To (Til Fra via Mikkeller) Grant
Spicy Xmas porter. Got all the feels - vanilla, cinnamon etc w/ roasty malty base. Good.

Dark and peppery but more sweet than chili flavored. Not as well balanced as similar stouts.

Hazy yellow w/ good pop. Nice fruity hoppy aroma. Perfect stop btw session and IPA. Juicy, light refreshing and low ABV. Good one.

Cloudy yellow and huge aroma like sticking your head in bag of fresh hops. Sweet juicy flavor a tad creamy and scant bitterness. Sipper rather than quashable espc with 10% ABV.

SpontanCherry Frederiksdal Grant
Beautiful ruby red color w/ light fizz. Wine like characteristics from earth cherry aroma to long complex feel. Not overly sour or tart as oak barrels keep it balanced. Delicious and bonus points for great label.

Look at the pic for the color :). Fruity Starburst like aroma. fruity hops upfront and quick bitter after. Comes across as more APA than a traditional wit beer but decent.

Probably some IPA bias as just felt like one but smooth juicy flavorful little number from the ever reliable Gamma brewery.

Darker yellow w/ loads of citrus / herby aromas from the 3 hop dry hop. Fruity flavor balanced by malt combo. Good one.

Peter, Pale and Mary Gluten Free Grant
Amber color and earthy aroma. Piney hops overwhelm a dusting of tropical flavor. Bitter on the finish. It’s fine.

Beautiful red color and foam. Raspberry aroma. Sweet and tart combine nicely w/ wheat undertones. Light and crispy. Perfect sunny afternoon beer.

Doublebock Frederiksdal Cherries Grant
Beautiful dark red color w/ tart cherry aroma. Doesn’t mesh perfectly as heaviness of doublebock fights against light cherries. Like the idea though.

Foamy opaque yellow. Topical fruit aroma w/ herbal DDH as well. Hoppy well-rounded flavor profile w/ slight bitterness but not juiced up like a hazy IPA. Balance is there but means more fruity. Enjoyable afternoon beer.

Gorm's Organic Pizza Magic Grant
Sweetish lager. Some crispness to it but overall is bready and sweet. Decent w/ food and get it as collab.

Light brown color with nutty sweet aroma. Slightly breast but nice roasted caramel flavor notes. No bitterness some fruity hops linger.

Midnight black w/ scant foam. Oaky and sweet aroma. Big bold and boozy. Candied fruits almost maple syrup sweetness overwhelms subtler chocolate, coffee and cask flavors. Tastes better as warms w/ water chaser.

Santa's Hoppy Helpers (2021) Grant
Amber color w/ earthy hoppy aroma. Dry fruity spicy hop flavor with typical West Coast style aggressive bitter finish. Not unpleasant lingering on taste and I enjoyed it with food.

Light yellow color w/ medium fizz. Orange bubblegummy aroma. Fruity but not heavy. Grapefruit finish lingers but not too bitter. Refreshing and lighter IPA.

Yellow caramel color with light fizz. Earthy orange rind aroma. Maple syrup sweetness upfront w/ fruity but not sweet middle to IPA bitter finish. It’s ok.

Opaque yellow w/ no real fizz but that distinct banana aroma of a wheat beer. Tad sweet w/ nice citrus notes and easy finish. Works for a summer or start the night beer.

Henry & Irma Yuzu Spring Lager Grant
Light yellow with citrus aroma. Crisp with big yuzu flavor and touch of rice adds some creaminess. Like to have in summer ice cold and experiment w/ adding lemon, lime etc. it’s good though.

Light yellow with low fizz. Clean aroma goes with crisp and smooth lager. Hint of lemon gives sorta session feel. A bit thin but nice and easy overall.
