2018 vintage. Drinks like a barley/wheat wine. Nose is predominantly maple from the maple bourbon barrels it’s aged in. Notes of cherry, oak, bourbon, and maple on the taste. Second only to CBS in the Founders barrel aged series as far as I’m concerned

Nice roasty porter with some maple sweetness. Not really picking up the vanilla on this one though. More coffee and maple.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) A.

Excellent KBS variant! Coffee & chocolate on the nose. Same thin body as KBS & CBS. Getting coffee, chocolate, maple, and barrel on the tongue. Well done Founders! My favorite Founders barrel aged beer in the 2020 lineup
