Arrr, that be sharp! Passionfruit out the wazoo, tart and thick. Pretty good stuff.

Aroma is capuccino and chocolate, same on the taste front but with a subtle sweetness and so much vanilla from the bourbon. Silky smooth too. It's like Quality Street coffee creams with added alcoholism.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) B.
Nowt I can say that hasn't been said before. One of the finest stouts ever made, and the ageing hasn't hurt it any.

So there's a little bit of the syrupy cough syrup vibe to it but the mix of sweet and sharp, a ton of raspberry and the fact that you can easily down it like it was Ribena makes it as tasty as it is deadly.

This is solid, and a lot more interesting that the non-BA bastard. Honey, dark fruits and a big whisky hit. You can feel the booze in there but it goes down so smoothly that it doesn't really matter.

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) B.
One of the most prominent whisky profiles I've ever had from a BA. Very up front, but as it settles the rich, bitter coffee takes over, with a hint of chocolate. Quite boozy, but that's not a bad thing here.

Super malty, almost like a doppelbock but a little less full-on. Smooth, but unfortunately tastes a little flat.

Nom! Loads of coffee and chocolate, thick and sweet with a slightly bitter finish. One of the smoothest, creamiest stouts I've had in a while. Even the smell is memorable.

Mas Agave Prickly Pear (2021) B.
So I've never tried a prickly pear but after this, I'm on board. Sweet with a bright berry tartness, sticky but not cloying and the tequila ageing adds a great je ne sais quoi.

Juicy, smooth and creamy. Surprisingly, it's not particularly dry nor bitter but I'm digging it.
