HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2019) Barnes
4 years in the making. I’ve been dying to open this since the day I got it. Some funk and woodiness but it still lets the apple-liness and bracing refreshment to break through. Good stuff!

Bittersweet - not a huge amount of coffee but interesting stuff. Not too heavy

Dry as hell and quite sour. Tart rhubarb is still there and beer has some bitterness. None of the poppy taste that I attribute to lambics - clean in its funkiness.

Gonna be on my arse after this! Dark chocolate cherries in kirsch from my childhood. Incredible!

Super beer! Not too tart or In your face. Dry, tart and a raspberry aroma on the aftertaste. I bloody love it.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne 2017-2018 Barnes
Deliciously sour/dry lambic. Doesn’t have the complexity and funk of more expensive lambic, such as Cantillion, but is excellent without breaking the bank.
