A heavy hitter. Intense aromas of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, & vanilla. The flavor is smooth and sweet. Chocolate, dark coffee & vanilla play lovely with notes of baking spices on the finish. A boozy warmth with maple syrup rounds out the flavor

Not my first go-around with this beer. Rich aroma of coffee. Dark, foamy head. Heavy coffee influence and slight bitterness on the tongue, but light drinking for a stout. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon with Fish and Chips

Jet black pour. Strong coffee scent. Nice coffee flavor with a good balance of sweet and bitter. Excellent stout from Founders

Smoky and sweet aromas. Close your eyes and you can almost see those bourbon barrels. Hints of spice and caramel are prominent, but a nice scotch rounds out the flavor. You wouldn’t know it’s 11% ABV without reading the bottle. Bravo
