Super cool beer. Drinks like an old school west coast, but there's notable funk/tang from the barrel/wild ale.

Campfire Amplifier C.

The adjuncts are relatively mellow and harmonious. Was expecting over the top, but it's anything but. Cocoa powder becomes more prominent as it warms. Nice body. A solid easy-drinking milk stout.

KBS Hazelnut C.

The hazelnut is overwhelming and artificial. Still a good beer beneath the surface. Thanks Andy B. For the delivery!

Nemesis (2021) C.

Big, sweet boozy malts you want from a barleywine, with a bitter finish to balance it out. Toffee and caramel notes. So smooth, with a body reminiscent of an RIS. Quite good.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) C.

Nose is nutty maple fudge. Sweet mocha, dark baker's chocolate, and turbinado sugar. Roasty malts and bitter cacao nibs come in late. Barrels quite muted compared to OG, but there is noticable warm booze on the finish. Nearly too sweet. Still very good.
