Chocolate forward with a nice coffee aftertaste. Drink again. Not much cherry.

The Cranfather Wichmann

Nose of cranberry or cherry. Complex flavors of cranberry and tart fruit at the beginning a little vanilla in the middle and orange peel in the aftertaste. I like this as a winter warmer. It’s not a sour beer.

4 Giants Hazy IPA Wichmann

Nose of sweet hops. Taste is well balanced and flavorful. Light on the hops, which I like, yet big and bold. Must be the imperial part or the added oats. Share

Punkin Ale Wichmann

Nice. More pumpkin pie spice than pumpkin with a solid ale backbone.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Wichmann

While I enjoy regular KBS, this is sweeter with more cocoa and vanilla

Velvet Rush Wichmann

Founders makes consistently great beer across the spectrum of beer. This one is complex with great flavor from the barrel aging. This is a sipper, and enjoyable but lighter than a stout. Different flavors with each sip. Drink again

Porter Wichmann

Wonderful nose. Coffee bitter forward with roasty toasty notes on the aftertaste. Expected more from this brewery. Gonna clear my palate and try again

Backwoods Bastard Wichmann

Nose of bourbon spilled in a rick house or barley wine spilled in Tony’s bar. Wonderful complex flavors. A great winter sipper. Drink with friends by a fire.
