I really liked this and I’m surprised it’s not better rated, a corking pale.

Doublebock Frederiksdal Cherries Evans
Quite nice, and reminiscent of a darker, more bitter Kasteel Rouge.

Sharp lambic tartness. All sharp for me, but I can see it’s well done.

This is lovely, very like a Mikkeller Limbo and very tart and fresh.

I really like this. Quite surprised by the relatively low ratings, it’s a gorgeous sippable pale.

This is apparently Mikkeller’s attempt to brew a reference lager. The average ratings on Untapped tend to suggest they haven’t achieved that, and I tend to agree. It’s okay, but that’s all.

More an amber ale than an IPA, deep and bitter but quite enjoyable.

I like this a lot - malty and toasty and very close to one of my favourite lagers, the epic Alhambra 1925.

A very nice IPA - just enough bite that you know it’s booze, but approachable and fresh. Like a Mikkeller take on Steady Rolling Man.

The epitome of a 3.5 - nothing to dislike, fairly approachable and a sensible strength, but not a beer that will ever knock your socks off.

A very enjoyable beer, almost a slightly drier Belgian framboise. Not, however, significantly better than Mikkeller’s AF limbo series.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2017) Evans
Lambic and Comte, a brilliant combination. Fresh, sharp and just right with some gritty cheese. #madaboutlambics #lambiclove #wasntmuchelsewasdiscussed

Very, very good. It reminds me of their Limbo Series Riesling but it’s less sweet, more balanced and a little more beerlike. All of that is a very good thing.

It’s a bit like a hipster spin on an old school Top Deck lager shandy and lime. It’s still drinkable, but probably my least favourite of the Limbo series because it doesn’t feel quite so special.

Such a joy, this beer. Fruity and bright, still recognisably beery but concealing brilliantly the fact that there’s no booze in it.

Really very good and, as so often with Mikkeller’s AF range, relatively difficult to differentiate from an alcoholic beer.

Weird Weather Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA Evans
For an AF beer - for any beer, really - this is exceptionally good. Fruity, no bitterness, no metallic note, an absolutely beautiful beer.

Really terrific - there’s precious little to choose between this and, say, a Lindeman’s or a Boon raspberry beer. That they managed to make an AF beer like this is little short of miraculous.

Another very well-done AF beer, this one with a predominant citrus flavour. Again, more like a soft drink than an AF beer.

Really lovely, although with the sweet grape notes in this it almost feels closer to a soft drink than a beer, a sort of Schloer/shandy hybrid. Incredibly drinkable though.

Fruity and balanced - a little sweetness, but not too much, and plenty of raspberry.
