Nitro Breakfast Stout Houghton

I've been drinking this beer for over a decade and this is the first time on nitro. Not only does it hold up as a progenitor of the style, but its enhanced! Lots of coffee with a subtle vegetal character ( bell pepper?) Mouthfeel is perfect.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Houghton

Took a great thing and made it slightly worse. Cinnamon and vanilla reduce drinkablility and mask the bourbon and coffee.

Porter Houghton

If someone asked for a definitive example of a porter, this is the beer I would hand them. Great silky body, roasted malts balanced by sweet malts and a slightly bitter finish.

Curmudgeon's Better Half Houghton

2018 Vintage- It turns out, that anything Founders Barrel Ages comes out beautifully. Big chewy mouthful, with maple sweetness rounding out a huge malty body. This is one of the best old ales I have had.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Houghton

Smells of chocolate and maple syrup, with an after taste of Friendly's hot fudge.Although that sounds delicious, I cant drink more than 1/2 a glass. Its apparent they tried to balance it as the integrity is there, but it's too much.
