Last one from the Nov. 2019 batch. 49 months is too much. Very smooth with barely any alcohol presence. Barrel notes very mellow, mostly caramel sweetness. Bitter cocoa and plenty of roasted coffee. Much less body than anticipated.

Suitable fire pit beer. Cleaning out the beer fridge, this is old, but still fine for a night like this.

15 months in the cellar, really smooth and mellow out of the bottle. The barrel and boozy notes really develop as this sits in the glass. One more in the cellar, hoping for 24 months.
