Shoulda known by the brewery it'd be punishing sweet. Not so much "squall" as "qualms" about quaffing their product, grapefruit-centric. As dive bars go, though, this place is fun. Does it officially qualify as karaoke bar? 🎤 The world 🌎 wonders.

Nearing the end of this year's Okto 🐙 season. This one's pretty average. Nutty, autumnal vibe. Carmel. A tad musty, but not in a bad way. Buddy's, where I got this, is a beer store. Don't know why it comes up as "miscellaneous shop."

Way better than I expected. 11.1% alco made me suspect overwhelming boozy taste, but it's an adroit, subtle commingling of vanilla, covfefe, and lounge-lizard silkiness, barrel-aged. Cue the Annie Fratellini! 🎼👩‍🎨 Mad props to local graffiti artists.
