Every time I have a Founders Porter, it grabs my attention. I’ve had scores of them. But I pour one…chatting away…take a sip…and whoa! I stop what I’m doing and stare at the glass. I may be ready, finally, to declare a “favorite beer.”

Average beer is improved in an awesome venue. Party on the deck by Hunkajunk moved inside due to Canadian smoke in the air.

Mid-90s Microbrewery Red Ale Barz
This style deserves attention on all beer lovers repertoires. This one in particular is good. Nailed the toffee malty thing.

Ok. Not fucking around anymore. This is just a tad sticky. Otherwise a 5. This poured over vanilla ice cream would be a treat for the whole family. (Pizza at this jawn is super jawn).

A wise man once said to me, he said “If you ain’t Dutch, you ain’t much”. And now I say it to you. Pictured is ham loaf from PA Dutch country. And when I say this beer is perfectly paired…I schjit you not once.

Not sure it’s still a 5, but it’s a 4.94 at least. Hoppy, strong and sticky!
