Oh my, could be the night-ender. 18.0%, shelved for 2 years. Sooo smooth. Tame aroma. Palate has bit of star anise, roasty coffee notes, raisins, warming booziness. Very tasty stuff - cheers Paul A.! 4.35⭐️.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% Ayres

R3B5. Similar to tom h. - but a hint more ABV. Fantastic, stalwart USA benchmark. Cried a bit when I ripped her from her cellar bed…but there is sacrifice in war Bobby N., right?!

Astral Sabbatical Ayres

Light and super-fruity, pineapple is prominent. Soft, touch sweet to start but a nice bitterness emerges towards the back. 6.5%. Pretty darn good as is (pushing 4.00) - but betcha this was a 4+ when fresher.

Earthscraper Ayres

Light tropical hazy. Peachy, pineapple. 7.0%.

Things Ain't What They Used To Be Ayres

Decent but underwhelming. Old can might have something to do with it? Note to self - try a fresh one. Smooth, bordering on flat - malty backbone w fruit & pine. 6.7%.

Loving opening round AFL Saturday. This 6.7% Int’l import is a great goal assist. Hazy, fruity. Decent.
