Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Raff
The maple syrup sweetness is spot on, serving as the perfect counterbalance to the roasty coffee and bitter chocolate. Quite smooth with mild bourbon notes, like the oh so pleasant sax melodies of one Kenny G.

Wow! Such intense flavors in the form of a smooth and malty sipper. In spite of the unholy ABV, there is limited heat. A work of art.

Handfuls of blueberry in this swill. Coffee, chocolate, and bourbon are all present in the background.

Loads of coffee with a nice dose of buttery whiskey. A touch of sweetness would take things to the next level - that is, if you like sugar in your coffee.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Raff
No adjuncts with this one, folks. Simply a delicious stout aged in bourbon barrels. The stout is roasty & sweet with a touch of raisin tartness on the tail. The whiskey wins the show in ABV, nose, heat, & flavor.

A definite dessert stout that satisfies the sweet tooth. The carbonation is quite well balanced with the smoothness, which I am down with. The maple adds some sweetness and complements the coffee action. Well put together.

Well balanced. Chocolatey, semi-sweet, and boozy. The bourbon and oak barrel minimize the strength of the coffee flavor, which is overly dominate in their flagship breakfast stout. Overall, a solid brew.
