Second support act Ignea (from Ukraine) with kick ass growling female singer!

Lunch beer! Elegant, tart, unexpectedly creamy cherry taste. Tasted good to my bockwurst and potato salad.

Smoke On the Porter, Fire In the Rye Fil
Absolutely divine porter, with an aromatic sweetness and smoke notions that’s out of this world. Love it!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Fil
Digging for treasures in the beer cellar. This semi-sweet beauty could probably be cellared for a century without going bad but now is the time to enjoy it. Love how the coffee cuts through the maple syrup and bourbon vanilla notes. Amazing beer!

Untappd recommended taste description words sour, tart, sweet and dry? That's a full house! 😀 What a treat to find this beauty here on tap. It's like someone has taken the best sour cherries, enhanced and refined them, and made something divine!

Beer flight #3. Didn't expect to get a beer style I've never had before. On top of that it tastes fantastic, malty, caramelly, fruity and slightly smoky. Love it!

Beer flight #4. Nice take on the Bamberg smoke style, but it doesn't quite match the original.

Still smoking things up! Cool and odd stout with artficial candy raspberry flavors, smoked malt and a shitload of chili. I like it!

Insane stuff! Not the most complex kriek I’ve tried (I lack some vinegary notions) but the taste just won’t leave my mouth. Love it!

Strangely gentle tastewise, except for the booziness. Not bad, pretty cool, but no favorite!

Been looking forward to this! Strange barley wine though, with it’s heavy notions of roasted malts and unusually hoppy bitterness. Very aromatic, but also very hard to pair with cheese (which I love) and works poorly with chocolate too. Still nice anyway!

Coffee & beer testing, present from my brother. Top notch pale ale with lots of fruit and floral notes. Nice bitterness too. Loses most of it’s flavor with Kenya French Mission coffee but highlights the fruity and floral notes with the Brazilian stuff.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Fil
You gotta admire Founders for their ability to create beers with really wacko taste combinations that somehow feels totally natural. Malt, caramel, vanilla, orange peel, lemon, bourbon and hops are delicious, definitely!

Yay, a new Más Agave! Not quite up to my favourite, the grapefruit, but darn good. I don’t know what prickly pear is supposed to taste like, but I feel side notions of raspberry. I love it!

Mine Is Bigger Than Yours: Port & Bourbon Barrel Aged (2021) Fil
The barley wine itself is a bit anonymous, despite the 15,5% ABV. Mainly caramel, with perfect sweetness level. The double barrels, however, create magic. Intense port notions, fortified with vanilla, that lingers accompanied by lovely warming! Love it!

Nice notions of coffee, cocoa, rum and roasted malts, but also some unwanted notes of ashtray.

Have logged this beer before, but without the ”Clásica” addition. Probably the same, but who cares? I don’t mind having such an amazing beer again!

Haven’t had a new Founders in what seems like ages. Lovely dessert porter with sweet vanilla and maple notions, the bourbon BA providing some additional goodness. The only thing I lack is the intensity. It feels a bit light.

Very light, very quaffable with fresh grapefruity notions. Would be a beer I’d forget tomorrow if it wasn’t for the amazingly amusing name. To paraphrase a known Danish macro brewery “Probably the best beer (name) in the world”!

Oh man, I’m having a wow moment right now! The original KBS is divine, but maybe a little bit rough. Here the edges have been smoothed out with chocolatey, caramelly and lovely maple syrup notions. Enjoying it with some dark chocolate and a big smile!

What? It’s brewed with milk sugar and it’s crystal clear. Must’ve been filtered, I don’t like that. Tastewise it’s solid with lots of mango and pine, but please don’t filter your beers!

Rather thick body, yet it feels somewhat gentle for being a Founders stout. Fresh initial berry taste with bitter chocolate and some roasted malts and coffee notions trailing behind. Nice one!

Aaah, a brand new Founders beer is a real treat! This is a the missing link between a quaffer and a sipper. You wanna savour every creamy, chocolatey, vanilla and coffee infused drop, but it wouldn’t be a problem to down it in three gulps. Love it!

Have been looking forward to tasting this, but I find the bourbon notes way too sharp. It gets a lot better with some blue veined cheese, though!

Takeaway beer from a well known burger joint. Quite amazing that this brew is non alcoholic. Fruity and floral with a decent bitterness, nice!
