Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Pieron
A black classic. Taste as intense as the Jon Moxley NoDQ match I just watched. Lots of chocolate and coffee, without feeling pastry. The only way to drink coffee for me. The bourbonbarrel has flattened a bit after 4,5 years, the booze still packs a punch.

After 5 sips my tongue got used to the sourlevel. Then, the cherries came forward some more, with a dry oaktaste in the back. Will never be may favourite style, but nice to try it from time to time.

Dry, woody taste. Definitely sour with a slight sparkle of carbonation. Not very cherry-ish.

Excellent porter. Dark as night with a firm creamy head. Scent has coffee, first sip is dominated by cacaotones. A hoppy finish makes for a dry aftertaste. A Founders classic once again.

Vergelijkend warenonderzoek part 1: koelkastkoud. Goed te drinken cheap ass bier. Nasmaak is wat warrig. Zesje. Geen grappen over de avondklok.
