Heat Map S

This is more my thing as a quaffable session beer. Tho realise many don't regard 5% as session. Smooth and easy drinking. Just like a NEPA should be.

Don't see so much ToOl around these days. At least in these parts. This does what is says on the tin. Supremely qauffable with loads of tangerine taste and maybe just a bit of coconut. So some Sabro in here I assume? Like it a lot.

Strawberry Cranachan S

Well this isn't half bad. Of course it's sweet and honey flavoured, being a mead, but the strawberry actually does a damn fine job of balancing that. The overall taste is rich, sweet, deep, fruity and rewarding.

LCI from last night. Was given this by my good friend Mark. He didn't care for it. Dunno why. I quite like it. Tho it's definitely not the 'classic imperial coffee stout' it claims to be. Far too sweet.

Public Consumption S

Damn good. This is a fine expression of the epitome of modern Euro hazy DIPAs.

Low Slung S

On the Newcastle MPT you do get some rather excellent beers. This is one such example. Tho if I'm honest I was expecting more.

If you're expecting a coffee stout then think again. Despite its relatively meagre strength, this has Imperial written all over it, and a depth of flavour I really didn't expect. Puts many things stronger to shame.

Zig Zag S

Obviously there is still work to do here before the actual opening. Stock is only half full and a porch still to build. But its going to make an excellent addition to the beer scene in these parts. Especially if they keep beers like this on.

Pachamama S

And Now it's time to go totally mad! The number of conflicting flavours in this is insane. Sweet, obviously, being a mead. Smokey. Bitter. Even sour. Chuck some salt in as well and you have a full blown meal. Love it.

Partition S

I'm quite liking this new wave of supposed NEIPAs which are actually quite hoppy. This one hits ALL the spots and hard to see how it could be improved on. But it's early in the day so giving myself a little headroom!

Still keeping it light after last night, but doesnt have to mean not tasty. This is a cracking session beer in the same vein as Lervig House Party, which is also on here. This is odd given that the place has now seemingly morphed into a Belgian Beer cafe.

Do Stuff Together S

Surprisingly light and refreshing. Just what a beer this ilk should be. Good way to wash down lunch.
