Sunday afternoon, making soup and enjoying a Porter. A big flavor, roasted coffee and malt w discernible backbone of alcohol.

pine… mildly bitter… fragrant, but not obnoxious. easy, undemanding, and well made. it’s a session ale, just like it says on the label. perfect to enjoy while I cook on a rainy Sunday.

Last can in the 12-pack. Pleasant enough but I won’t rush to buy another. I expected more from Founders.

Not bad! But still doesn’t quite taste like a gose. Lightly sour, wheat, refreshing… the watermelon is present, not too perfumey…
